BOWMORE 16YO 1989 CS (70cl, 51.6%)

This is the first of a series of three vintage cask strength Bowmore releases from three different maturation types. This is a peaty Bowmore made up of predominantly Bourbon cask whisky. A limited edition from 134 casks released in 2006. Complex with candied fruits, toffee, marzipan, bound together with the distinctive Bowmore smokiness. Delicate with hints of vanilla, soft fruits and light peat.

BOWMORE 18YO (70cl, 43%)

Released in January 2007, a complex and interesting Bowmore. With aromas of creamy caramel toffee, ripe fruit and smoke. Incredibly complex, with beautiful soft fruit and chocolate balanced with a light smokiness.

BOWMORE 25YO (70cl, 43%)

Aromas of intense sherry and stewed fruits with a trace of Bowmore smokiness. A palate of delicious toffee and hazelnut mellowed together with a hint of sweet peat smoke.

 

BOWMORE BLACK 1964 42YO (70cl, 40.5%)

On the 5th November of 1964, The Bowmore spirit was filled into five Oloroso sherry casks and left to quietly mature in the deep, dark Bowmore vaults. After forty two years, the casks have produced only 827 bottles of this extremely rare malt whisky. The result is quite simply stunning, almost ebony in colour, with incredible aromas of exotic fruits, ginger and cinnamon. The palate is rewarded with hints of ripe mango, toffee and dark chocolate with the faintest hint of the smoky Bowmore signature. The finihs is luxurious, creamy and warm.

 

BOWMORE WHITE 1964 43YO (70cl, 42.8%)

Bowmore Distillery, established in 1779, is the oldest working distillery on the island of Islay. On the 5th November of 1964, the Bowmore spirit was filled into six bourbon casks and laid down to mature in the distillery's famous vaults. Only 732 bottles were obtained from the casks, but the result is outsanding. The colour is golden syrup, with amazing aromas of Gallia melon, mango and papaya. On the palate, there are hints of mixed exotic fruits, vanilla and maple syrup with just a trace of Bowmore peat smoke. The finish is clean and incredibly long.

 

BOWMORE GOLD 1964 44YO (70cl, 42.4%)

This is the final of 3 limited edition releases from the spirit distilled at Bowmore Distillery on the 5th of November 1964. The clear spirit was filled into 3 bourbon casks and one olorosos sherry cask. For 44 years, the precious liquid has quietly matured in the dark Bowmore vaults. This, unfortunately, is the very last whisky from this distillations in existence. The four oak casks have been carefully married together to produce this truly exceptional and extremely rare example of Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Over 44 years, the oak casks have imparted a natural, rich golden colour to the whisky giving the apt title of 'GOLD' Bowmore. Only 701 bottles of this remarkable whisky were obtained from the casks but the result speaks for itself. Rich gold in colour with incredible aromas of passion fruit, papaya and vanilla. The palate is rewarded with an explosion of ripe exotic fruits, creamy vanilla and only the slightest whisper of Islay peat smoke. The finish is beautifully balanced and incredibly complex.

 

BOWMORE 1956 (75cl, 43%)

Bowmore 1956 is a vintage whisky, distilled in 1956 and bottled for the French market. This malt bottled in the 80s, scored a massive 96 points by the highly respected whisky maniacs. Matured in sherry cask.

 

BOWMORE 1964 BOURBON CASK (70cl, 43.2%)

Bowmore bourbon cask 1964 is a Limited Edition Islay single malt scotch whisky. It spent 38 years maturing in traditional American bourbon casks. These bourbon casks have imparted a wonderful, creamy, sweet, essence into the distinct character of Bowmore, resulting in a multitude of sumptuous aromas one will never forget. A truly delicious nose of vanilla, coconut and fresh tropical fruits. A spectrum of creamy, fruity flavours flood the palate. White chocolate, fruit drops, pears, aniseed and a hint of oak.

 

BOWMORE 1968 32YO (70cl, 45.5%)

Bowmore 1968 is a rare bottling to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Stanley P. Morrison. Only 1860 bottles available. It has a very aromatic and fruity nose, orange melon, tangerine, grapefruit and apple with hint of vanilla. On the palate, its fruity with hints of peat. Good balance between sweet and bitter fruits notes, slightly peppered. Beautiful finish with tangerine, passion fruit and grapefruit notes.

 

BOWMORE 1969 Sherry Cask (70cl, 43%)

The pure water and plentiful peat used at Bowmore combine to produce this distinctive and unique Malt Whisky which has been specially selected from Sherry casks maturing in the oldest warehouse at the distillery dating back to 1779.

 

BOWMORE 1972 27YO (70cl, 53.3%)

This Limited Edition Bowmore 1972 islay single malt scotch whisky, aged 27 years, is one of only 466 bottles produced from 3 cask and signed by the Distillery Manager, Islay Campbell. Bowmore distillery nurtured this spirit for 27 years, waiting until the day the whisky was at its prime. Having rested quietly in the No1 vaults of Bowmore distillery, breathing in the fresh Atlantic sea air, this Bowmore islay single malt scotch whisky has developed a unique taste of saltiness.

 

BOWMORE 1973 21YO/Vintage Label (75cl, 43%)

Distilled in 1973, matured in specially selected casks and warehoused in the distillery. Bottled at cask strength, this whisky is extremely rare.

 

BOWMORE 1963 30 Anniversary (70cl, 50%)

In commemoration of ownership, the Distillery as had bottled the remaining casks from the 1963 production. Complex yet mellow, this is a superb example of an Islay whisky.

Distilled in 1963, bottled in 1993 with a limited quantities of 600 bottles. Matured in specially selected oak casks and warehoused in the distillery vaults.
